* Always disconnect the battery from the product, making sure that the glass is safe and unbroken.

Don'ts:

* Do not disassemble your electronics by yourself.

* Do not place electronic devices in containers marked as “Do Not Dispose”.

* Do not donate E-waste to informal and unorganized sectors like local scrap dealers/rag pickers.

* Don’t put your electronic products in your household trash cans which are picked up by your local municipal corporation.
